Our listeners want to hear from you. Will you join us on our award-winning podcast?
About Our Podcast:
Our podcast is hosted by internationally-recognized thought-leader Jamie Turner, who is an author, the CEO of 60 Second Marketer, and a regular guest on CNN and HLN on the topics of business, technology and marketing.
Why We’d Like You to Join Us:
We’ve invited you to be a guest on our show because you’ve accomplished great things during the course of your career. No matter what your background — business, entertainment, sports, politics — you have a story about your career and your journey that our listeners want to hear.
About Our Listeners:
Most of our listeners will be business owners, marketing executives and C-Level executives who are interested in learning about you and the story of your career — the ups, the downs, the lessons learned along the way.
Being interviewed on our show is like talking with someone over a cup of coffee. We’ll ask some questions, and you answer. It’s as simple as that!
Technical Requirements:
We record our podcasts via Skype or telephone. Ideally, you’ll have an external microphone or a USB headset. (If you don’t, fear not — the ear buds from your smartphone work surprisingly well.)
We record our interviews on Friday afternoons between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm Eastern Time. (We have some flexibility on the recording time, so if Friday afternoon doesn’t work, let us know.)
If you haven’t already set-up a time for your interview, just click here and let our producer know what one-hour time slot works for you. (Side note: The interviews typically take no more than 30 minutes.)
How to Have a Great Interview on The Jamie Turner Show:
Relax: The more fun you have, the more fun the listener will have.
Tell a Story: People want to hear your story — how you confronted challenges and overcame them, how you succeeded despite the odds, how you managed your way out of a difficult situation, etc.
Say Something Surprising: Playing it safe makes for a boring interview. Say something controversial or irreverent. One technique is to turn a commonly held belief upside down (e.g., “People say Steve Jobs was the greatest CEO of all time, but I say the opposite is true.”)
Next Steps:
Please email our producer your bio (about 100 to 200 words), a convenient time for the interview, and anything you’d like us to mention (e.g., a new book, a new business, an upcoming event, etc.)
Thanks again for being part of our show. We’re looking forward to the interview. See you soon!
